chemistry class

bismillahirahmaanirrahiim

in this life, numbers of chemical reactions could take place. for a chemical reaction to occur, the elements are should be able to interact among themselves. for instance, formation of ionic bonding requires two elements with different charges; positive and negative. as the bonding formed, an amount of energy was being released. the energy to overcome the difficulties during the bonding formation. i categorized this as 'electrostatic bonding'.

there are other types of bonding namely covalent, Van de Waals as well as hydrogen bonding. these bondings are much weaker as compared to the previous one, but still, the elements are able to interact with one another to form this bond. hydrogen bonding for example, can only be established when hydrogen atom meets uorine, oxygen and nitrogen atom; other than that, no bonding is possible. i called this as 'intermolecular bonding'.

last but not least, there's a group in chemical elements chart, Group VIII (as far as i could remember my form 4 chemistry lesson, back in seratas 7 years ago) which also known as inert element. what differ them from other elements? answer: they couldn't bond with any other elements, even among themselves. no matter how many attempts they've made, still, no chemical reaction would occur. not possible at all! and i categorized this as 'no chemistry group'.

i try to reflect those chemical processes which had been mentioned above. electrostatic bonding may represent relationship in family and non-family (you know!). the intermolecular bonding could represent relationship with friends, teachers, seniors, juniors, out-siders (oopss!), patients and customers, to name a few. however the inert group could represent a group of people who have tried so hard to start relationship with other people, just like the electrostatic bond but they failed to do so. they even have modified their chemical and physical properties to adjust themselves with other people but luck is just not on their sides. too bad huh?need to do some self-monolog perhaps.

and i notice that all bondings need catalysts to hasten/ease the chemical reaction. and in this context catalayst = love. hmm?

at the moment, i'm wondering 'am i an inert molecule?' no, i don't want to belong to this group. i love interacting with people most of the times. to form bonds of love.

*sigh* (kegagalan jiwa yang dahsyat)

sarah, just continue revising your notes. leave this matter for while.
